The buyers agent industry has changed fast. Agencies are handling more clients, more property data, more off-market opportunities and more communication than ever but for many, the technology behind the business hasn't kept up. Client details sit in one system, properties are sourced in another, briefs go out by email, and research lives somewhere else entirely.
That's the problem BA ICON was built to solve.
BA ICON wasn't a generic CRM repackaged for property. It was built from the ground up, specifically for buyers agents — because the tools on the market simply weren't designed around how a buyers agency actually works.
Founder Simon Rose came to the idea after running his own buyers agency and hitting that wall firsthand: most real estate technology is built around the selling side the vendor, the listing, the sales pipeline. A buyers agent starts somewhere completely different: with the buyer and their brief. That distinction shaped BA ICON from day one.
BA ICON now covers the full journey prospecting, client profiles, distributing briefs to selling agents, sourcing, matching and acquisition — in one connected environment. Listings can be imported directly from realestate.com.au, Domain, Allhomes and RealCommercial, cutting out repetitive data entry.
Property matching sits at the centre of it: buyers agents can match new opportunities against active briefs, or work the other way and find the right buyers for a given property — something that gets harder to do from memory alone as an agency scales past a solo operator.
A branded client portal keeps the experience organised and centred on the agency, not scattered across links, PDFs and email threads and not handed off to a third-party platform.
Rather than rebuilding every piece of specialist property technology, BA ICON is increasingly connecting into it — including a new integration with Stash Property, bringing property intelligence and research directly into the client workflow.
The goal isn't to automate the buyers agent out of the picture it's to strip out the repetitive admin around them, freeing up time for the work that actually matters: understanding a brief, assessing value, negotiating, advising. Much of the product roadmap comes directly from agents using the platform day to day.
From 1 July 2026, buyers agents became subject to Australia's expanded AML/CTF obligations. BA ICON has built AML-related workflows including AUSTRAC enrolment and client verification directly into the platform, reflecting a broader shift: the CRM of the future won't just record what happened, it'll help run the business.
BA ICON starts at $350 + GST/month for a single-user Solo Operator, with tailored pricing for larger teams all plans including the full CRM suite, training, support and updates.
“Our ambition is for BA ICON to become the technology platform that great buyers agencies build their businesses around.”
